Gary H. Clemmons was born in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was admitted to the Bar in 1981. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Campbell University School of Law. He served as former Senior Law Clerk to Senior United States District Court Judge John D. Larkins, Jr., and was an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina for 3 years. He is a member of the Craven County Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association and a member of the Board of Governors of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers. His main practice areas include personal injury, federal criminal defense, civil litigation, Workers Compensation, Social Security and Homeowners Associations. Gary resides in New Bern with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and tennis, waterskiing and boating.
